Passive fire protection system goes green!

Insulcon Technical, working for EDF, won a contract to supply Passive Fire Protection for “Project Revolution” at Hole House Onshore Gas Storage Facility.

The project would involve surveying, designing, manufacturing and installing over 200 meters of pipework including more than 50 valves and flanges. The projects added complication was a requirement by the Environment Agency for the pipework to settle into the landscape with a very specific shade of olive green covering.

Insulcon Technical recommended our multi-award-winning Jet Fire Pro, with a customised olive green weather protective coating to meet the aesthetic requirements of this project.

Insulcon Technical successfully manufactured, supplied and installed the systems using our specialist IRATA Rope Access Team. The project was delivered on time and within the budget specified.
