Calcium Silicate

Calcium silicate is an insulating material composed of hydrated calcium silicate and reinforcing fibers. When high strength and durability along with low thermal conductivity is required for an insulant, calcium silicate products are there to meet the need, and that is why this type of insulators are widely used in various industries. These insulators come in a variety of asbestos-free forms that are completely environmental- and human health-friendly.

Low-density silicate calcium insulators are used as a thermal insulation layer in most high temperature industrial units in order to improve energy storage and thermal efficiency. Calcium silicate products are designed to withstand a maximum temperature of 1100 °C.

Dense silicate calcium insulators have higher strength and unique thermal insulation properties which makes them especially suitable for components of high load-bearing structures.
